Situated at the south-eastern tip of the Arabian peninsula, the Sultanate of Oman is rightly renowned as the most welcoming and hospitable country in the region. It is also known for its rugged mountains, beautiful wadis and white sand beaches. Under His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said’s judicious leadership, the country has made gigantic strides forward both economically and socially since 1970.

At the time of the conference, in late March, the temperature is likely to be around 30C – but even if it is a little higher, all cars, buildings and hotels have very effective air-conditioning systems. The conference website gives details of a range of places to stay at reduced rates, and we feel sure that you will enjoy your visit to Muscat. Majan College looks forward to welcoming you!
